It is clean and functional and the glass is near-pristine with the exception of the 10x Achroplan objective, which has some light pitting when viewed through a loupe. The illuminator works, as does the camera and power supply. There are no filters in the holder, and the stage is missing the specimen holder.
The condenser has a lens that swivels out of the way for low-powered optics, as well as a diaphragm. The six-position nosepiece is fitted with five objectives. 2 10x/20 eyepieces, one with adjustable diopter. 2.5x/0.075 Plan Neofluar. I tested the camera's coaxial port and got the image seen in the pictures-it's tissue paper.
Forgive my antique monitor's flickering image. The digital video port has an odd configuration-50-pin DIN out, and the cable has a 37-pin DIN at the other end, which, as far as I can tell, fits nothing. As a result, I was unable to test that port.It actually came with a computer branded "Autocyte", with manuals, but the video card is pretty standard and doesn't fit the cable. The computer appears to have motherboard problems, so I installed the hard drive in another computer as a slave, and found no programs called "Autocyte" or anything like it. I'll include the hard drive and any cards in the computer if you like. Power switch on microscope is hard to flick, and sometimes needs some finagling to get it to turn on.
