WW 2 US Medical Equipment Battalion Aid

Needle sanitizer, for field use by US Army, WW 2. White metal case with flip snap top. Small trough in top of container as needle bath. Metal jar houses sanitizing liquid with cotton tuft at top.

Pull out the tuft metal base and container below can be refilled. Bottom of outer container marked U. / Pioneer / New York, N. Size of container is 2 5/8" x 1 7/8" x 1. Easy size for Corpsmen to carry.
