Of course, if you can get the photomicrography end of it working... As you can also see, it comes with the 2 optional illuminators, HOWEVER, there is no power supply for those either. But they're easy to remove, and the microscope works fabulously with a simple halogen table lamp (as you see demonstrated in the video).

Instead, he says just take the numbers on the objective at face value. In other words, he says this is a "6.3x to 32x zoom" -- NOT a 63x to 320x zoom.
