The is model #1, and I believe it is the earliest model. It is a fine medical quality, heavy piece, made of (possibly) silver plated copper. The device measures 7" tall, 5.5" wide (including the handle), with a cylinder that is about 2.5 in diameter. Ultimately, this invention was one of the most commonly used medical devices of the late 19th century. This is the earliest and best quality model I have seen. The lamp measures 13.5" tall from the base to the top of the socket, and the base is about 3.75" in diameter. Overall, the piece is in excellent condition, showing light surface wear to the surface. It appears to be complete (except for the hose), and the gears turn properly. The lamp is in good working order. This quote is for the Continental U.International Buyers - Please Note.
