The SDC HD can burn images and video to CD and DVD. However, unlike systems of the past, the SDC HD supports multiple types of DVDs including DVD+R, DVD+RW and DVD-R. This allows for compatibility between various types of DVD drives. Decrease the numbers of discs in the office by writing multiple times to a single DVD. Images can be saved as Bitmaps, JPEGs, JPEG 2Ks, TIFFs, TGAs or PNG files. Encode video in an MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, or AVI formats. Burn to a DVD as you are recording thereby reducing down time between cases. Capture still mages without interrupting video recording. Retrieve patient files from a disc, a USB drive or the SDC HD itself so that images can be conveniently re-printed. Patient information is encrypted to allow the facility to maintain confidentiality.
