READ ALL DESCRIPTION The NuVasive NVM5 system is an integrated medical platform designed for intraoperative neurophysiologic monitoring (IONM) and surgical efficiency during spinal procedures. It provides real-time feedback directly to the surgeon, helping to protect nerves and assess the patient's neurological status throughout a surgery. Core Neuromonitoring Capabilities The system monitors nerve and spinal cord activity using several key modalities: Electromyography (EMG): Monitors muscle activity to identify potential nerve root irritation or injury. Motor Evoked Potentials (MEP): Assesses the integrity of the motor pathways in the spinal cord. Somatosensory Evoked Potentials (SSEP):Monitors sensory pathways from peripheral nerves to the brain.

Twitch Test: Evaluates the presence of neuromuscular block by testing the nerve's ability to respond to stimulation. NVM5 works with Windows XP Professional, turns on and waits for Patient module to engage. This equipment comes with some cables for nerve monitoring. Happy to answer any questions.
