These are useful for a variety of therapies within natural healthcare. One could use them for direct pain relief, improving tissue function, acupuncture meridian therapies, the list goes on.
Essentially, these were made as a less costly and more user friendly version of the famous Erchonia cold laser. However they are more powerful and much easier to use than the Erchonia (which I also owned), you can input any specific frequency in the design menu, but these have the added bonus of about 70 pre-programmed frequencies that are named for their best use i. Unwind, relieve, fat cells, scar tissue, cell regeneration etc.The base stations (handheld units) have Infrared, red spectrum and ultraviolet laser diodes arranged in a circular pattern. This is done to deliver therapeutic light at different depths, with infrared being the longest, deepest penetrating wavelength of light, penetrating 3-5cm into the body. Red spectrum penetrates 1-3cm, making it ideal for healing structures like muscles, tendons, ligaments etc. Ultraviolet penetrates under 1cm into the skin making it ideal for affecting acupuncture meridians and superficial tissues. The total power of each base unit is 80mW The pulsars (3 probes) are again, Infrared, Red and Ultraviolet depending on the tissue of interest.
Each of those is 100mW of very focused laser. Excellent for direct application on inflamed or chronically painful sites. I have owned this set of lasers for about 4 years, I bought 2 to treat bilateral structures on patients like the adrenal glands for relieving stress.
I can say from clinical experience that the effect of the lasers is subtle, but they do work. If you google Quantum Scalar wave lasers you will see that they are used to treat a huge variety of physical ailments. If you happen to be a healthcare provider some insurances will cover cold laser treatment, which this is. If you have any more questions I can answer for you, please let me know and I will get back to you.
Thanks for looking and have a good one. The socket of the ultraviolet probe is a little loose, it works fine, but one needs to hold the plug to keep it on, not a big deal since you are holding the probe anyways.
