Antique Vintage Leitz Folding Large Field Travelling Microscope Brass

You are looking at a vintage Leitz Folding Microscope, number 196579. These were hard to find many years ago, and I presume they still are.

They are nice because they pack small for air travel, yet fold out into a conventional desk stand for easy use. This one comes with one "Compens Ocular" and a 16mm objective, both a little dirty, but not scratched or damaged. I had it in a display case for many years and have managed to lose the case and other parts.
